This is my first foray in field of blogging..i love one thing about blogging it gives every nerd who can't be a author opportunity to vent out his frustration here.
My idea of Panchayat is group of intellectuals and concerend lot, who wish to contribute and make a difference. traditionaly they use to do that under peepal tree in some village. Now we are here..
I like people to join this blog and share their view on change. In long run i as individual like to see something changed by me or where i can see my contribution making difference. I am sorry to say in these 32 years i have done nothing substantial to influence..I know one thing for sure that my idea of charity is not denoting few bucks and sleep over it. It's not perpetual model.I want something which is self sustained and bring changes which are permanent.
Hence born Panchayat....
Pacnhaya is people coming togaether and taking dinning room discusion to higher level. Its in true spirit of democracy for everyone, by everyone and a step to increase social circle which has shrinked to zero...
Dear Anurag,
ReplyDeleteI can very well understand your pain here but again I would like to differ from your views as I really think that we
ourselves made a choice to work like this (or maybe I differ bcoz of historical reason of KHANDANI dushmani between
Gupta and Sharma family... ).
First thing first; do we really have a choice now to stand on our feet and raise our voice against this "Slavery"!
forget about raising a voice or speak about it, we can't even mumble about it now after taking heavy loans for car,
home and luxury we own(wanted to use ENJOY :-) or maybe unhealthy and costly lifestyle we're used too now.
We have chosen a path or rather a short cut to reach our GOALs .. destination.. blah blah... just because it was
visible from where we started and we wanted to own a big car so badly that we didn't even ever thought about What we
want from life.
Did we ever give a thought about it that if destination is looking soooo close and visible could that be bcoz it is
up high on the hill or maybe mere a mirage???
We just started running with a mob and in the process we became mob, mob psychology tookover and we lost our own
identity or maybe blinded by the dust thrown up by the people running ahead, faster then us. (remind you that I'd
chosen to become a Mechanical Engineer though had option to opt for Computer science, I was proud of my Mechanical
Background :-))
Whenever we stopped to breathe or stumbled, someone from the mob helped us to get back on our feet and we felt good
that someone cares for our goal .. Ha Ha ..and started again.Mob never wanted you to not be a part of it as "No one
wants to feel bad about loosing a battle alone, you need shoulders to cry on or atleast a false feeling of comfort
that atleast "I'm not alone here".
We're still not that numb that we can't feel the pain of still running the path and only changed things are that now
we're running uphill with lost energy and enthusiasm of our youth.
I'm not done yet bur am tired of mine bit of slice of 9 hours and need some rest....
To be continued.....
